About Family Style Guide Service…
Family Style Guide Service is a two boat, full-service, family oriented guided fishing outfit comprised of the Father and Son duo of Randy & Connor Wood. Randy has been a guide on Possum Kingdom lake for over 30 years and has completed 1000+ guide trips in that time. He is also an accomplished tournament angler having competed and won tournaments in 5+ states. Connor is also a hard charging waterman and veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard who after an honorable discharge in 2021 returned home to join Randy in the guiding business.
The Wood Family currently resides in Aledo, Texas.

Our name says it all!
Whether you’ve been fishing your whole life or don’t know a striped bass from a catfish we welcome all ages and skill levels.
We provide the boat, fishing tackle, bait, fish cleaning, life jackets and will teach you everything you need to know to catch a fish on Possum Kingdom Lake.
Customers can and are encouraged to provide their own food, drinks, sunscreen, towels, and anything else you think you’ll need to be comfortable out on the water.
All persons 17 years of age or older are required by Texas Parks & Wildlife to have a valid Freshwater Fishing License (even if they do not plan to fish).

2 person - $350
3 person - $450
4 person - $550
5 person - $650
6 person - $750
For larger trips, corporate events, family reunions, bachelor parties, etc. call for pricing.
